Rockland Office of County Legislator Black History Month Poster Art

Harriet Cornell Chair of the Legislative Assembly and Vice-President, legislators William Darden announced that Norris Photography quaint Pomona, Mixed Media Art by Tania Guerrera Spring Valley, as well as paintings by Cherie Raglin of Nyack are currently displayed in the offices of the Legislative Assembly. This fourth annual History Month exhibition is a continuation of the County Legislature? S program to display the works of local artists in the legislature on 11 Hempstead Rd New York. New.

Quaint

Norris is a deep passion for taking pictures of people and places. Mr. quaint said: “I found the photos allowed me to be among people from different backgrounds. They have intrigued me to shoot and when I realized he was still the same.”


Tania Guerrera

is an artist, writer and lecturer. His work reflects his African and Taino / Arawak roots. She is passionate about teaching art by local cultural Borinken, Taino people and influences from Africa, the island now known as Puerto Rico.

Cherie Raglin is African-American artist and poet performance. His style is an expression, gestures representation of domestic calls, respond to its environment, and abstract theories about the world as a whole. She has exhibited his work in Rockland County and in galleries in Detroit and Portland.

Darden Vice President and President of Cornell stated that I would not recognize Norris quaint, Tania Guerrera and Cherie Raglin March 7 before the plenary session of the legislature. The public is invited to visit the exhibition from Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00 to February.
